This pair of semi detached houses replaces a bungalow in a residential suburb of North Cardiff. It will have very green credentials, built of SIP panels to a full Passiv Haus standard with extremely high levels or insulation, is fully airtight with triple glazing, roof solar panels and an Air Source Heat Pump. The heating costs will be very negligible. The client will be living in one of the properties whilst selling off the other which is going to market in early 2025. These properties have been shortlisted for a sustainability award.
