St. Florence

St Florence is a desirable village, close to Tenby in South Pembrokeshire. In the centre of the village, a local farm had been purchased by our client with a view to building ten new homes. Urban Style Land were keen to develop a contemporary solution, which had overtones of medieval Welsh longhouses. The upper storey is partially disguised within the roof scape of each home which have been designed to have a distinct style to help tie the development together whilst also allowing for some individuality. Materials have been chosen to reflect the local vernacular with contrasting colour rendered walls, timber effect cladding and slate roofs. The interiors have been developed in conjunction with Katie Lusty from Elementi Cucina and comprise a mixture of contrasting wall colours, judicial use of timber cladding and some great ceramic tiling finishes.
The house named Ty Cyfoes is available for renting as a holiday home.
